The 3 Signature Series to Create on Social Media for More Followers, Engagement, and Sales

Tips and tricks aren’t cutting it on social media anymore. We’ve seen all the tips. We’ve seen all the tricks.

Instead, what’s working on social media now are signature series.

What is a signature series?

It’s a recurring series you share on social media around a specific topic. Your audience will come to expect this series from you and get to know you through it.

There are 3 that I recommend you create, and I’ll go over each one along with some examples so you can get an idea of what to create for each series.

#1 — Wide Net Series

This is a series that will cast a wide net that will bring new people into your world. The goal of this series is to gain visibility.

If you’re a food blogger who sells meal plans and programs, your Wide Net series could be Freezer Meal Friday. You’ll capture a wide audience of people: people who want to save time with freezer meals, people who want to save money on groceries, people who want to eat healthier with less impulse buys, and people curious about meal prepping.

#2 — Core Series

Next up is your Core Series. This is a series that caters to your existing audience but also attracts new people to you. The goal of this series is to gain credibility by creating actionable content that people can use to get small wins.

Using the food blogger example, let’s say your following is made up mostly of people wanting to learn simple meal prepping. Your Core Series could be Prep School, where you share how to prep freezer meals in just 1 hour per week.

#3 — Ultra-Niched

Your Ultra-Niched series will cater to one area of your audience and is related to one product or service. The goal of this series is profitability, as it funnels people into a specific product or service.

Using the same food blogger example, let’s say you want people to buy your new mini course all about meal prepping high-protein meals in less time with a smaller budget. The Ultra-Niched series could be 3 Meals in 30 Minutes: Salmon Edition and talk about how to plan meals using just a couple pounds of salmon.
